Description: Built in 1809 to hold some 9,000 worshipers, Odessa's Cathedral of the Salvation and Transfiguration (Spaso-Preobrazhensky Cathedral) was blown up by the Bolsheviks in 1936 and rebuilt practically stone for stone between 2000 and 2003.
